The police managed to track down the perpetrator, but they were in for a big surprise.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Markus Busche left his e-bike firmly secured outside his front door in Kiel. What he didn\u2019t expect was that he&#8217;d be reporting his pedelec as stolen just a short time later.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The e-bike\u2019s first unusual movement was recorded at 3.16 a.m. on the night of 13 October thanks to the fitted IT&#8217;S MY BIKE tracker. The bike was first taken just a few streets away and ostensibly parked there. The built-in GPS tracker didn\u2019t report its position again until about 6 a.m. The bike continued to be moved around Kiel until it was finally loaded into a van, presumably at around 1.30 pm.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The thief then sped along the A21 motorway towards Bad Segeberg with the stolen item at up to 150 km\/h before stopping in the municipality of Trappenkamp.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was then an easy job for the police: thanks to a clear GPS signal, they were able to seize the stolen bike in a warehouse.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cIT\u2019S MY BIKE spared no effort during evidence identification and preservation.
