Darmstadt, 7 October 2024 – The Hamburg-based start-up company Hopper Mobility is about to start series production of the Hopper. With three wheels, two seats, a lockable trunk and a roof, the Hopper combines the best of cars and bikes. To offer its customers complete security, Hopper Mobility is now working with IoT Venture GmbH. From the very first model, the vehicles can be equipped with GPS trackers from the Darmstadt-based company.<\/p>\n

“Every Hopper can replace a car” is the vision of Hopper Mobility, founded in 2021. With its three-wheeled, covered city vehicles, a hybrid between a car and a bicycle, the company aims to make a significant contribution to more sustainable urban mobility and thus to the transport revolution. Hopper is also focusing on an intelligent safety feature and is now offering the option of equipping new vehicles with GPS trackers from IoT Venture ex works.<\/p>\n

“We want to offer our customers the highest safety standards. That is why we have included a number of features such as a PIN request to start the car, a lockable removable battery and a lockable boot. IoT Venture’s GPS tracker perfectly complements our equipment so that the vehicle is fully protected against theft,” says Philipp Hermann, Managing Director of Hopper Mobility.<\/p>\n

Safe and smart thanks to Connected Bike<\/strong><\/p>\n

In addition to digital theft protection and stolen e-bike recovery, the IoT Venture’s Connected Bike solution also includes important features for the customer. Customers can also take out a discounted insurance service or use other functions such as ride statistics, a movement alarm or an inspection service.<\/p>\n
