An e-bike was stolen in Wolfsburg at around midnight in mid-April. After around two weeks, it was found in a van near Weddendorf. But it’s not just one bike.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Martin H.’s e-bike was stolen from a gym in Wolfsburg at around midnight on 16 April 2025. He only realised it was missing on the evening of 17 April and immediately reported the theft via the IT’S MY BIKE app, as luck would have it, his bike was fitted with an IT’S MY BIKE GPS tracker. The Bike Hunters immediately informed the police, who arrived with the victim shortly afterwards at a homeless shelter \u2014 the last place where the tracker had sent a signal. However, the search was unsuccessful at that time.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

On 1 May at 16:48, the GPS tracker reported a signal in Wolfsburg, to the east of the main railway station. The police were informed immediately and set out, but the bike remained missing for the time being. Shortly afterwards, at 19:33, the bike suddenly started moving eastwards at high speed, which was a clear sign that it must be in a vehicle.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The search ends at 19:53 to the east of Wolfsburg, in a green area near Weddendorf. The officers take action. On arrival, they find a van containing Martin H.’s bike and several others. The investigation continues into the early hours of 2 May. Ultimately, the vehicle and stolen goods are transported to Magdeburg, where local police take over the case.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
