On the evening of 23 June, an e-bike parked in what appeared to be a secure location in Paris suddenly disappeared. The Bike Hunters from IT’S MY BIKE responded immediately, tracked the GPS signal, and helped the owner recover her bike just a few hours later.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

At around half past five on 23 June, an e-bike was stolen in the north of the city centre, near Square L\u00e9on. The owner had only stepped away for a moment when she returned, her bike had vanished without a trace. A few minutes later, the theft was reported via the IT’S MY BIKE app because, luckily for her, the bike was equipped with a GPS tracker. The Bike Hunters immediately begin searching for clues.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Initially, the GPS data reveals the bike’s last known location. It continues to move south towards the city centre. The Bike Hunters intervene immediately: they check the current coordinates, call the owner and inform the police simultaneously. Every minute counts.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Just over an hour later, the GPS provides the decisive clue, prompting the officers and the owner to set off immediately. The bike is found south of the city centre, near a department store, secured with a new lock. All the police now have to do is open the lock.<\/p>\n
