Darmstadt, 4 november 2024 – Technologiedeskundige IoT Venture GmbH uit Darmstadt heeft een nieuwe oplossing ontwikkeld voor de integratie van slimme sloten die het vergrendelen van e-bikes nog eenvoudiger en veiliger maken. Een eerste voorbeeld van deze technologie is te vinden bij jarenlange partner en e-bike fabrikant VELO DE VILLE, die de use case heeft gerealiseerd in samenwerking met I LOCKT IT.<\/p>\n

De innovatie is al in gebruik bij Luxembourg Post, die is uitgerust met e-bikes van VELO DE VILLE. Dankzij de IoT-integratie in het slot kunnen medewerkers op elk gewenst moment en zonder sleutel toegang krijgen tot de e-bikevloot via \u201ckeyless go\u201d – zonder dat ze zich bezig hoeven te houden met vervelend sleutelbeheer. Tegelijkertijd kan het vlootportaal op elk moment worden opgevraagd om te controleren of de fietsen na gebruik correct zijn vergrendeld.<\/p>\n

Dit is vooral voor wagenparkbeheerders een groot voordeel: Met afstandsbediening kunnen fietsen altijd en overal worden gecontroleerd op hun veiligheidsstatus en indien nodig worden vergrendeld. Deze functie maakt wagenparkbeheer veel eenvoudiger, vooral voor grote bedrijven of organisaties die e-bikes gebruiken.<\/p>\n
