He had barely swallowed his jam sandwich when he realised that his e-bike was gone.

At around 9:00 a.m., when the coffee had barely had time to take effect, Herbert S. realised that his bike had disappeared, stolen from the bike rack of his camper van. However, he knew that he was not alone this time — his bike was secured by a GPS tracker.

He immediately alerted the police, who arrived at the campsite in Colmar, France, very quickly. Fortunately, Herbert S. had the foresight to stow the battery and display away safely before the theft.

The bike hunters from IT’S MY BIKE immediately began the digital pursuit, passing on the GPS coordinates to Herbert S. and the police.
