This innovation is already in use at the Luxembourg Post Office, which is equipped with VELO DE VILLE e-bikes. Thanks to the IoT integration in the lock, employees can access the e-bike fleet virtually at any time and keylessly via “keyless go” – without the hassle of managing keys. At the same time, the fleet portal can be queried at any time to ensure that the bikes have been properly locked after use.

This is a huge benefit, especially for fleet operators: Bikes can be remotely checked for their security status and locked if necessary. This feature makes fleet management much easier, especially for large companies or organisations using e-bikes.
