Thanks to IT'S MY BIKE and the police! E-bike stolen from outside retirement home in Halle (Saale) recovered.
On the morning of 20 August 2025, Rainer M. from Halle (Saale) parked his e-bike in front of a retirement home as usual. The site is located north of the city centre. When he returned at around 5 p.m. that afternoon, the bike had disappeared. Fortunately, the bike was equipped with a GPS tracker from IT’S MY BIKE. That same evening, Rainer M.* reports the theft via the IT’S MY BIKE app.
At around 5:40 a.m. on 21 August, the GPS tracker registers movement towards the south-east again. The stolen bike is on its way past Giebichenstein towards Landrain. The Bike Hunters from IT’S MY BIKE immediately alert the police, providing them with all the relevant location data. At around 6:30 am, the officers drove directly to the last reported location and found the e-bike there, very close to the Gertraudenfriedhof cemetery.
Shortly afterwards, Rainer M.* receives a phone call from the police informing him that he can collect his bike from where it was found. Rainer M.* sets off immediately and soon stands in front of his e-bike, overjoyed. He opens the frame lock with the officers and takes possession of his undamaged property.
